The Susquehanna Symphony Society’s annual music scholarships support young musicians across Susquehanna County, offering multiple awards including one honoring Joe Welden to recognize talent, dedication, and artistic growth. Students in grades 6 through 12 are invited to apply and participate in the Youth Showcase Concert, where their performances help determine scholarship recipients. With structured rehearsal opportunities, accompanist support, and a culminating showcase, the program celebrates emerging performers while investing directly in their musical journeys.
